Gina Duckworth

Executive Director

Gina has been in the long term care “world” since 2003. In 2007, she obtained her first license as Administrator in the state of Nevada. Since then she has gotten her Missouri and Kansas licenses as well. She is proud to be a W.S.U. Shocker and is continuing her education locally at Park University.

Gina is the proud mother of four boys, two of which have the distinction of being Eagle Scouts, as well as the oldest two are now serving our country in the U.S. Marine Corps. The youngest two are still at home with big plans for the future.

Her hobbies include traveling to warm destinations, reading, and playing cards with her family.

Jeff Westmoreland

Director of Wellness

Jeff has been a nurse for almost 14 years and especially enjoys long term care. Jeff is happily married and they have one 15 month old son. His hobbies include fishing, shooting, golf and spending time with his son. Jeff says his purpose is to help people live a quality life, not just be alive.

Holly Belanger

Care Coordinator

Holly has been a LPN for over 13 years, she started in the nursing field at the age of 19 as a CNA. She graduated from Warrensburg Area Care Center in 2004 with her LPN, then in 2015 graduated from State Fair Community College with Associate of Arts. Holly was a floor nurse for over 10 years and then became a Staffing Development Coordinator which her focus was the continued education of the staff which ensure that each Resident received the optimal care. She had been married for 14 years and has 3 kids, twin sons that are 13 and a daughter that is 8. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and kids.

Belinda Beedle

Business Office Director

Belinda has worked in senior living for four years. She started as a staffing & development coordinator before moving into an HR management role. Her passion for Human Resources and desire to assist in supporting seniors brought her to The Parkway.

After spending the majority of her life traveling and living abroad she has settled down to call Blue Springs her home. She is engaged to be married to her significant other of eight years and spends her free time with him and their three beautiful children.

When not enjoying time with family or spending time in her much beloved home-away-from-home, The Parkway, Belinda enjoys singing, writing, movies, art and literature.

Ignacio Barraza

Executive Chef

Ignacio is happily married with 5 children at home. He has been cooking for 30 years and started his career as a chef in California. He has worked for Arrow Senior Living for several years now, most recently at The Fremont in Springfield, Missouri and now at The Parkway!

Ignacio and his family moved to Missouri from California in 2014 and is happy to call the Blue Springs area home.

Danielle Lamb

Resident Services Director

Danielle is a graduate of the University of Missouri with a Bachelors of Science in Human Development and Family studies. She is a Blue Springs native and lives here with her family. She is a proud mother of a Beagle named Wallace. Her goal at The Parkway is to enrich the daily lives of our residents with a variety of events, activities and programs. She and her team work everyday to create a calendar that is satisfying for those who live here. Whether it be one on one or as a group, she and her team strive to nurture relationships and engage all. Danielle loves this position because it fuels her creativity and her passion for elder care.

Dan Merrick

Plant Operations Director

Dan and his wife of 42 years have 3 sons and 5 grandchildren ranging in age from 4 to 19 years old. He has lived in the Sweet Springs area since 1960 when his father was stationed at Whiteman Air Force Base. He lived in several places prior to this, including Alaska (where he was born) and Guam. Dan and his entire family all live on the same farm that has been in the family for over a century. He loves that his grandchildren can just walk over or ride their bikes over to see him anytime.

After graduating from high school, Dan enlisted in the United States Air Force where he trained in Electronics. After the military, he received his degrees in electrical, mechanical engineering and HVAC.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing pool working on working on patents for alternative energy devices.

Corey Skaggs

Senior Living Director

Corey is happily engaged to his fiancé with their dog and cat. He has been working at The Parkway off and on for the last 2 years. He is originally from California where most of his family still resides. Corey has worked at multiple Arrow Senior Living communities such as The Castlewood Senior Living, Gables of Hudson, Gables of Kent Ridge, Gables of Green, and Vitalia Senior Living. He is happy to be working with the senior community in all different aspects.

Sonja Naugle

Senior Living Coordinator

Sonja is happily married to her husband of 14 years. They have twin boys and a daughter that all attend Brittany Hill Middle School. They recently moved here from Colorado and LOVE it here. She and her husband are Chiefs season ticket holders. She enjoys riding her bike, DIY projects around the house, traveling to Mexico and Florida with Hubby.

Sonja has helped families and individuals with disabilities as their case manager. She has also worked as a staffing coordinator for a home health company helping seniors get the services they need in their homes. Her love of helping others is the cornerstone of why she choose to work at The Parkway.
