Gina Duckworth

Executive Director

Gina has been in the long term care “world” since 2003. In 2007, she obtained her first license as Administrator in the state of Nevada. Since then she has gotten her Missouri and Kansas licenses as well. She is proud to be a W.S.U. Shocker and is continuing her education locally at Park University.

Gina is the proud mother of four boys, two of which have the distinction of being Eagle Scouts, as well as the oldest two are now serving our country in the U.S. Marine Corps. The youngest two are still at home with big plans for the future.

Her hobbies include traveling to warm destinations, reading, and playing cards with her family.

Jeff Westmoreland

Director of Wellness

Jeff has been a nurse for almost 14 years and especially enjoys long term care. Jeff is happily married and they have one 15 month old son. His hobbies include fishing, shooting, golf and spending time with his son. Jeff says his purpose is to help people live a quality life, not just be alive.

Holly Belanger

Care Coordinator

Holly has been a LPN for over 13 years, she started in the nursing field at the age of 19 as a CNA. She graduated from Warrensburg Area Care Center in 2004 with her LPN, then in 2015 graduated from State Fair Community College with Associate of Arts. Holly was a floor nurse for over 10 years and then became a Staffing Development Coordinator which her focus was the continued education of the staff which ensure that each Resident received the optimal care. She had been married for 14 years and has 3 kids, twin sons that are 13 and a daughter that is 8. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and kids.

Jill West

Business Office Director

Jill has been working as a Human Resources professional in the KC area for over 18 years. A graduate of William Jewell and Webster University, she holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration and Master's in Human Resources Management as well as her Professional in Human Resources Certification.
A native of Independence, MO, Jill now lives in Lee's Summit along with her husband, Jason. They are proud parents of their 19 year old son who is currently serving in the US Army, their awesome 8 year old daughter and a 6 year old pit bull mix rescue pup named Jackson. Jill loves to watch her daughter play softball, go antique shopping and explore new restaurants with her husband when she has free time. She also is an avid scrapbooker and is actively involved with the music programs at her church.
Jill is honored to be a part of The Parkway team and serve the residents that make this community an amazing place to live and to work!

Ignacio Barraza

Executive Chef

Ignacio is happily married with 5 children at home. He has been cooking for 30 years and started his career as a chef in California. He has worked for Arrow Senior Living for several years now, most recently at The Fremont in Springfield, Missouri and now at The Parkway!

Ignacio and his family moved to Missouri from California in 2014 and is happy to call the Blue Springs area home.

Joaquin Olivares

Joaquin Olivares

Sous Chef

Joaquin started his culinary career at Cheesecake Factory, then went to Culinary school. He has previous experience as a Kitchen Manager and was a Sous Chef for the Hilton hotels. He moved to Missouri from Wisconsin. He loves working for Parkway Senior Living. He has two boys and enjoys cooking for them and taking them to the movies.

Danielle Lamb

Resident Services Director

Danielle is a graduate of the University of Missouri with a Bachelors of Science in Human Development and Family studies. She is a Blue Springs native and lives here with her family. She is a proud mother of a Beagle named Wallace. Her goal at The Parkway is to enrich the daily lives of our residents with a variety of events, activities and programs. She and her team work everyday to create a calendar that is satisfying for those who live here. Whether it be one on one or as a group, she and her team strive to nurture relationships and engage all. Danielle loves this position because it fuels her creativity and her passion for elder care.

Steve Bunch

Plant Operations Director

Steve was born and raised in the farm country of Illinois. He has been married for just over 25 years. They have 2 children, one still lives in Tucson AZ and the other one works here locally. We moved here from Tucson, to escape the hot summer heat. I have over 25 years experience in the construction and remodeling industry. He has come to Parkway because he really likes to help people in anyway he can.

Corey Skaggs

Sales Manager

Corey is happily engaged to his fiancé with their dog and cat. He has been working at The Parkway off and on for the last 2 years. He is originally from California where most of his family still resides. Corey has worked at multiple Arrow Senior Living communities such as The Castlewood Senior Living, Gables of Hudson, Gables of Kent Ridge, Gables of Green, and Vitalia Senior Living. He is happy to be working with the senior community in all different aspects.

Rik Perkins

Senior Living Coordinator

Rik was in the Marine Corps for six years. He has six grand kids. Rik owned his own restaurants but got called away due to his father falling ill. He relocated to the "beautiful Oregon coastline" to help with Dad.

He has been to 49 states and 7 countries and loves to fish, golf, shoot, and walk along warm beaches.

When his step-father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, he moved back to the Blue Springs area to help Mom. He loves what he does and says he can personally relate to families and residents because of what he's been through his his family.
